Pedro Mafama

Pedro Mafama is marking a unique narrative. The consistent mix of various electronic and urban references with well-defined traditional Portuguese music, serve as a musical bed for current, vivid and perceptible texts and songs, of today's stories from any Portuguese street. In 2021 he edited 'Por Este Rio Baixo' with the SONY seal, which included the singles “Estaleiro”, a theme that won the 2022 SPA Authors Awards – Best Popular Music Theme, “Contra a Maré” and “Leva”.

The debut album by the Portuguese musician had the most varied and strong reactions from both the public and the press.
