THEREFORE, CHEF’S ON FIRE PRIDES ITSELF TO BE A FESTIVAL 1OO% PLASTIC FREE, FROM THE FARMER TO THE FIRETAKING CARE OF THE PLANET IS TAKING CARE OF ITS RESOURCES. WITH THAT IN MIND, AN IN COOPERATION WITH THE INSTITUTE FOR NATURE CONSERVATION AND FORESTS (INCF), EVERY YEAR WE'LL PLANT A NUMBER OF TREES IN MATA CHEF'S ON FIRE, EQUIVALENT TO THE COST OF WOOD USED IN THE PREVIOUS EDITION.

 

LASTLY, BUT NOT THE LEAST, FOR EVERY TICKET BOUGHT, WE DONATE 5 EUROS TO BOMBEIROS VOLUNTÁRIOS DO ESTORIL, NOT ONLY FOR ALL THE SUPPORT GIVEN TO OUR FESTIVAL, BUT ALSO FOR THE COURAGE AND HARD WORK PUT INTO FIGHTING FIRES.  

IN  CONSONANCE WITH OUR VALUES OF ENVIRONMENTAL ACCOUNTABILITY, CHEF'S ON FIRE IS A 1OO% PLASTIC FREE FESTIVAL, FROM THE FARMER TO THE FIRE. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO ENJOY OUR MENUS ARE BIODEGRADABLE AND MADE FROM BAMBOO AND SUGAR CANE.
