PREVIOUS EDITIONS

The Chefs on Fire story began on September 23, 2018, when the festival flame was lit for the first time for a one-day event that marked the birth of one of Portugal's most beloved gastronomic and musical experiences.

The following year, in 2019, the festival expanded into a two-day event under the theme "Fired Up & Ready To Go!", firmly establishing Chefs on Fire as a must-see festival.

Despite the challenges faced in 2020, Chefs on Fire refused to let the flame die out. In 2021, the festival returned with the theme "There's a Light That Never Goes Out" and was one of the first events to take place after the pandemic. It brought joy and happiness to so many people who had been suffering for 18 months.

2022 was a landmark year for Chefs on Fire, with the launch of its first Pop-Up in Almada, with the most beautiful view in the country over the Tagus river and the 25 de Abril Bridge. In its fourth edition, the festival expanded its space and capacity to respond to fierce demand.

In 2023, Chefs on Fire is set to become even bigger and better than ever. With the launch of more Pop-Ups in Portugal and the expansion of the festival to a three-day event, this year has been an important milestone for Chefs on Fire. Join us as we continue to light the flame and bring together the best food, music and people that Portugal has to offer.
